TYFLOS RIVER
The Tyflos River (also called the Tiflopotamos River) is located on the northern outskirts of Sidari along Megali Beach. It is a vital freshwater ecosystem in Corfu and attracts a diverse mix of permanent wetland residents, migratory waterbirds, and local passerines that forage along its banks.
Walk over the bridge and take the path along side the Tyflos river until you reach the end where it disappears under the main road to Roda. You can walk down both sides of the river and also along the road along the seafront where you'll see many smaller birds.
Public transport:
Get a Bus to the centre of Sidari and it's a 15 minute walk along the Megali Beach seafront.
