OLD PERITHIA
Old Perithia is an excellent birding hotspot in northern Corfu and a premier mountain layout for observing Mediterranean passerines, raptors, and scrub-dwelling species. It is situated on the foothills of Mount Pantokrator at roughly 400 to 650 meters above sea level and its combination of abandoned Venetian stone architecture, overgrown areas, woodlands and active livestock farming, provides a rich upland habitat.
From the car park, follow the narrow roads down through the village, past Saint Spiridon church and out onto the foothills of Mt Pantokrator.
