Cirl Bunting (Emberiza cirlus)

The Cirl Bunting (Emberiza cirlus) is in the family Tits/Finches/Sparrows and is a small, striking bird with a yellow breast and greenish-brown upperparts. Males have a distinctive black face mask and throat. Found in farmland and coastal areas of southern Europe, they feed on seeds and insects.
