Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus)

The Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus) is a small falcon, in the family Raptors/Owls, found across Europe and noted for its ability to hover while hunting its prey of rodents, insects, and small birds. Males have grey heads and reddish-brown backs, whereas females are generally more brown in appearance.
