ANTINIOTI LAGOON
The Antinioti Lagoon was famously mentioned by Gerald Durrell as the "waterlily lake," this protected Natura 2000 wetland comprises brackish lagoons, reed beds, and salt marshes.
The best place to get access to the lagoon is from Saint Spyridon at the eastern end of the lake where there is a bird hide. Access to the lagoon is limited because of the surrounding woodlands.
