The Trivial Plant Bug (Closterotomus trivialis) is a species of true bugs belonging to the family Miridae (plant bugs). While historically confined to the Mediterranean basin, it has expanded significantly across Western Europe where it is a serious agricultural pest of olive orchards and citrus crops.
