Striped Shield Bug (Graphosoma italicum)

The Striped Shield Bug (Graphosoma italicum) is a species of shield bug known for its distinct red and black striped pattern on its back. Reaching 8–12 mm in length, it is a common European insect that feeds on plants in the carrot family (Apiaceae). It is sometimes called the "Minstrel bug" or "Italian striped bug".
