Brown Marmorated Shield Bug (Halyomorpha halys)

The Brown Marmorated Shield Bug (Halyomorpha halys) is an invasive agricultural and nuisance pest which has spread globally through international trade and travel, establishing populations in Europe. The pest's name, "marmorated," refers to the marbled or mottled pattern on its body.
