European Earwig (Forficula auricularia)

The European Earwig (Forficula auricularia) is an omnivorous insect known for the forceps-like pincers at the tip of its abdomen. Though they are considered pests in some circumstances due to their damage to crops and flowers, they can also be beneficial by preying on other pests like aphids.
