Carpenter Ant (Camponotus spp.)

The Carpenter Ant (Camponotus sp.) are a genus of large ants known for building nests in wood, primarily in dead, damp, or decaying timber. Unlike termites, they do not eat wood but excavate galleries and tunnels to create their nesting sites.
