Square-spot Rustic (Xestia xanthographa)

The Square-spot Rustic (Xestia xanthographa) is a common noctuid moth found across Europe. It has variable brown forewings marked by a distinctive pale or dark square spot and lighter crosslines. Active from late summer to autumn, it is attracted to light and flowers at night.
