Silver Y (Autographa gamma)

The Silver Y (Autographa gamma) is a migratory moth known for the distinctive, metallic, Y-shaped mark on each of its forewings. A strong flier, it migrates annually from southern Europe and North Africa to northern regions, where its numbers are sometimes very large.
