Horse Chestnut (chycnemia hippocastanaria)

The Horse Chestnut Moth (Chycnemia hippocastanaria) is a small, brownish geometrid moth found in Europe. Its forewings are patterned with wavy lines, providing camouflage against bark. Adults fly mainly at night in spring and summer. The larvae feed on broadleaved trees, blending well with foliage.
