Green Emerald (Phaiogramma etruscaria)

The Green Emerald (Phaiogramma etruscaria) is a delicate geometrid moth found in southern Europe. Its pale green wings, patterned with fine white lines, provide camouflage among foliage. Flying from late spring to summer, it inhabits warm, open habitats. The larvae feed on plants such as thyme and other low herbs, making it a characteristic species of Mediterranean landscapes.
