Fan-foot (Zanclognatha tarsipennalis)

The Fan-foot (Zanclognatha tarsipennalis) is a species of litter moth belonging to the family Erebidae. Known also by its scientific synonym, 'Herminia tarsipennalis', this moth is common across much of Europe. Its name comes from the enlarged, "fan-like" palps on its head.
