Burnet (Zygaena ephialtes)

The Burnet (Zygaena ephialtes) is a striking day-flying moth found across Europe in warm, flowery grasslands. It shows variable coloration, often with black wings marked by red, yellow, or white spots. Unlike many burnets, it mimics wasps for protection.
