Brassy Waved Umber (Menophra japygiaria)

The Brassy Waved Umber (Menophra japygiaria) is a medium-sized moth found across southern Europe. Its brownish forewings are marked with wavy, brassy lines that provide excellent camouflage against bark. The caterpillars feed on various shrubs and trees, including oak.
