Angle Shades (Phlogophora meticulosa)

The Angle Shades (Phlogophora meticulosa) is a medium-sized moth found throughout Europe. Its distinctive folded, angular forewings display shades of brown and green, resembling a withered leaf. Nocturnal and often seen at light, it flies from spring to autumn. The caterpillars feed on various herbaceous plants, making it a common and adaptable species in gardens and woodlands.
