Grasshoppers &
Bush-crickets

The Red-winged Grasshopper (Oedipoda germanica) is a species of short-horned grasshopper known for its brown-gray body and distinctive red hind wings with black bands. The bright coloration of its hind wings is a flash of colour displayed during flight, which serves to startle predators.
