Mediterranean Cone-headed Grasshopper (Acrida ungarica)

The Mediterranean Cone-headed Grasshopper (Acrida ungarica) is a species found in southern and central Europe, and is also known as the 'cone-headed', 'nosed', or 'Mediterranean slant-faced' grasshopper. It is a slender insect, typically green or brown, and is characterised by its long, narrow, cone-shaped head and long antennae.
