Italian Tree Cricket (Oecanthus pellucens)

The Italian Tree Cricket (Oecanthus pellucens) is a slender, pale green insect found across southern and central Europe is a species of tree cricket belonging to the family Gryllidae. Active in late summer, males produce a soft, melodic chirping to attract females, often at dusk. It lives in shrubs, tall grasses, and trees, feeding on plant material and small insects.
