Persistent Waxcap (Hygrocybe acutoconica)

The Persistent Waxcap (Hygrocybe acutoconica) is a brightly coloured mushroom in the family (Hygrophoraceae). The Persistent Waxcap is noted for its ability to maintain its color and shape for a relatively long period. It is typically found in nutrient-poor grasslands in Europe.
