Milkcap (Lactarius atlanticus)

The Milkcap (Lactarius atlanticus) is a species of moderately toxic fungus found in woodlands, particularly in Mediterranean climates. It belongs to the genus Lactarius, which is known for its "milky" latex that is exuded when the mushroom is cut or bruised.
