Magpie Fungus (Coprinopsis picacea)

The Magpie Fungus (Coprinopsis picacea), also known as the 'magpie inkcap', is a distinctive and toxic mushroom named for its resemblance to the black and white plumage of a magpie. It is commonly found in deciduous woodlands, particularly under beech and oak trees.
