Tiger Cranefly (Nephrotoma sp.)

The Tiger Cranefly (Nephrotoma sp.) belongs to the genus Nephrotoma which is a group of delicate, long-legged flies known for their bold, striped patterns. Despite their intimidating appearance and common misidentification as giant mosquitoes, they are completely harmless to humans.
