Lomate Bee Fly (Lomatia lateralis)

Lomatia are a genus of bee flies (family Bombyliidae) known for their striped, wasp-like abdomens and distinctively banded wings. The Lomate Bee Fly (Lomatia lateralis) does not have a widely accepted common name, but it is generally referred to under the umbrella group name "Lomate Bee Flies".
