Dung Fly (Cordilura sp.)

The Dung Fly (Cordilura sp.), the larvae of which, despite their common name, do not primarily feed on dung. Many are plant feeders, while the adults are predatory. The genus contains over 90 described species found primarily in the Northern Hemisphere.
