Anthracite Bee-fly (Anthrax anthrax)

The Anthracite Bee-fly (Anthrax anthrax) is a distinctive black insect, native to Europe, known for its parasitic relationship with solitary bees. Its scientific name, derived from the Greek word for coal, reflects its charcoal-black body and wings.
