Blue Featherleg (Platycnemis pennipes)

The Blue Featherleg (Platycnemis pennipes) is a delicate damselfly found near slow rivers and lakes across Europe. Males have pale blue bodies and broad, feather-like tibiae. Females are beige or light brown with slimmer legs.
