Migrant Hawker (Aeshna mixta)

The Migrant Hawker (Aeshna mixta) is a medium-sized dragonfly with a slender, dark body marked by pale blue and green spots. It inhabits ponds, lakes, and slow rivers across Europe. Active from late summer to autumn, it is a strong, migratory flier and a skilled predator of flying insects.
