The Southern Swallowtail (Papilio alexanor) is a large and distinctive butterfly with tiger stripes that are similar to those of the Scarce Swallowtail but has a more yellow background and a different arrangement of the stripes. The only location I have seen this butterfly is the slopes of Mt Pantokrator.
