🇬🇧 The Southern Swallowtail (Papilio alexanor) is a large and distinctive butterfly with tiger stripes that are similar to those of the Scarce Swallowtail but has a more yellow background and a different arrangement of the stripes. The only location I have seen this butterfly is the slopes of Mt Pantokrator.

🇬🇷 Η νότια χελιδονοουρά (Papilio alexanor) είναι μια μεγάλη και χαρακτηριστική πεταλούδα με ρίγες τίγρης που είναι παρόμοιες με αυτές της Scarce Swallowtail αλλά έχει πιο κίτρινο φόντο και διαφορετική διάταξη των λωρίδων. Η μόνη τοποθεσία που έχω δει αυτή την πεταλούδα είναι οι πλαγιές του όρους Παντοκράτορα.
