A medium sized, white/black butterfly in the family Papilionidae (Swallowtail and Birdwing butterflies)
Flying in March | April

The Southern Festoon (Zerynthia polyxena) is a striking butterfly of the swallowtail, Papilionidae family. It is found in select locations in Corfu and is unmistakeable from other species.
