🇬🇧 The Scarce Swallowtail (Iphiclides podalirius) is a large, and easily recognisable, butterfly. Despite its name, it is not particularly scarce in Corfu and can frequently be seen. It should not be confused with the Old-world Swallowtail which is often found in the same location but has a more yellow appearance.

🇬🇷 Η Scarce Swallowtail (Iphiclides podalirius) είναι μια μεγάλη και εύκολα αναγνωρίσιμη πεταλούδα. Παρά το όνομά του, δεν είναι ιδιαίτερα σπάνιο στην Κέρκυρα και μπορεί να το δει κανείς συχνά. Δεν πρέπει να συγχέεται με την Παλιόκοσμη Swallowtail που βρίσκεται συχνά στην ίδια τοποθεσία αλλά έχει πιο κίτρινη εμφάνιση.
