A small, grey/purple/black butterfly in the family Lycaenidae (Gossamer-winged butterflies)
Flying in June | July | August | September
The Purple Hairstreak (Quercusia quercus) is a butterfly in the family Lycaenidae. It is rare in Corfu, and I have only ever seen it at the top of Mt Pantokrator and at Kyprianades Spring.
