Nettle-tree (Libythea celtis)
A medium sized, brown/orange butterfly in the family Nymphalidae (Brush-footed butterflies)
The Nettle-tree (Libythea celtis), or European Beak butterfly, is a butterfly of the Libytheinae group of the brush-footed butterflies family. Their unusual shape, whether it has closed or open wings, make it difficult to confuse it with other Corfu species.
