Large Wall Brown (Lasiommata maera)
A large, brown/orange butterfly in the family Nymphalidae (Brush-footed butterflies)
Flying in March | April | May | June | July | and again in | September | October
The Large Wall Brown (Lasiommata maera) is very similar to the Wall Brown (Lasiommata megera) but it is larger and a paler yellow-orange with more extensive markings.
