Butterflies

Eastern Baton Blue (Pseudophilotes vicrama)

A small, blue/grey butterfly in the family Lycaenidae (Gossamer-winged butterflies)
Flying in April | May | June

The Eastern Baton Blue (Pseudophilotes vicrama) is reportedly widespread in the eastern part of Europe and is seen much more frequently in Greece than further north, although this may simply reflect Greece’s popularity as a ‘butterflying’ destination. It's favourite food plant is Wild Thyme.
