The Eastern Bath White (Pontia edusa) is in the family Pieridae. It is nearly identical to the Bath White (Pontia daplidice) and investigation of the genitals are the only way to distinguish between these two types. For the purposes of identification in Corfu, their distribution in Greece appears to be the only reliable feature to distinguish them.
