Western Yellow Wagtail (Motacilla flava)

The Western Yellow Wagtail (Motacilla flava) is in the family Pipits/Wagtails/Thrushes/Larks and is a slender, long-tailed songbird with bright yellow underparts and olive-green upper parts. Found across Europe in summer, it breeds in wet meadows and farmland. It is migratory and winters in Africa.
