Spotted Redshank (Tringa erythropus)

The Spotted Redshank (Tringa erythropus) is a medium-sized migratory wading bird belonging to the sandpiper family. Highly prized by birdwatchers for its striking seasonal transformations, it breeds across the subarctic regions of Scandinavia and Siberia before migrating south to the Mediterranean for the winter.
