Rose-Coloured Starling (Sturnus roseus)

The Rose-coloured Starling (Pastor roseus) is in the family Pipits/Wagtails/Thrushes/Larks and is a striking bird with pink body plumage and glossy black head, wings, and tail. Breeding in Eastern Europe, it migrates to India and Africa for winter. Highly social, it forms large flocks and feeds on insects and fruits.
