Robin (Erithacus rubecula)

The European Robin (Erithacus rubecula) is in the family Warblers/Flycatchers and is a small, plump territorial songbird with a distinctive orange-red breast and face, brown upper parts, and a white belly. Known for its melodious song, especially at dawn and dusk, the robin is often seen hopping on the ground while foraging for insects, worms, and berries.
