Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus)

The Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus) is a powerful, widespread raptor, in the family Raptors/Owls, known for its incredible speed, reaching over 300 km/h in swoops. It has a blue-gray back, barred underparts, and a distinctive dark “moustache” mark on the face. It hunts birds in mid-air, playing a crucial role as a top aerial predator.
