Pallid Swift (Apus pallidus)

The Pallid Swift (Apus pallidus) is a medium-sized bird known for spending almost its entire life in flight, eating, drinking, and even sleeping while airborne. It is very difficult to distinguish from its close relative, the Common Swift (Apus apus), but is generally chunkier with brown "scaly" plumage.

The Corfu Nature Website currently contains over 7,000 photographs of  more than 1,200 wildlife species found on Corfu.
If you find something new that is not in the database, please submit it to the website.
