Northern Wheatear (Oenanthe oenanthe)

The Northern Wheatear (Oenanthe oenanthe) is in the family Warblers/Flycatchers and is a small, migratory passerine bird with pale brown upper parts, a white belly, and a distinctive black eye-stripe. It favours open, rocky habitats and feeds on Insects which form the bulk of its diet. They are known to migrate to sub-Saharan Africa.
