Montagu's Harrier (Circus pygargus)

The Montagu’s Harrier (Circus pygargus) is a slender, graceful bird of prey, in the family Raptors/Owls, found across Europe. Males are pale grey with black wingtips whereas females are brown with streaks. It nests on the ground in open farmland and grasslands, hunting small mammals, birds, and insects.
