Little Owl (Athene noctua)

The Little Owl (Athene noctua) is a small, stocky owl, in the family Raptors/Owls, with mottled brown plumage, yellow eyes, and a flat-topped head. It is found across Europe where it inhabits farmland, orchards, and open countryside. It is active during both day and night and feeds on insects, small mammals, and birds, often seen perched on posts or walls.
