Eurasian Jay (Garrulus glandarius)

The Eurasian Jay (Garrulus glandarius) is a colorful, medium-sized bird in the crow family. It has pinkish-brown plumage, a black mustache, striking blue-and-black wing patches, and a white rump. Known for its intelligence and loud calls, it often mimics other birds. Eurasian Jays play a key role in oak forest regeneration by storing acorns, which sometimes grow into new trees.
