House Sparrow (Passer domesticus)

The House Sparrow (Passer domesticus) is in the family Tits/Finches/Sparrows and is a small, chunky bird with a stout bill, common in towns and farmland worldwide. Males have grey crowns, black bibs, and chestnut napes; females are brown and streaked.
