Common Greenshank (Tringa nebularia)

The Common Greenshank (Tringa nebularia) is a large, elegant wading bird belonging to the sandpiper family, 'Scolopacidae'. It is best known for its long, distinctive grey-green legs and a robust, slightly upturned bill.
